steel blue
Lake Superior one morning. The awesome energy that the water and the sky and the inhabitants with wings who call its shores home create together is hard to describe, except to say it is at once peaceful and revitalizing.
Awesome indeed! My sister-in-law was visiting this weekend, and last night we had an interesting conversation about places with 'energy'. She was talking about the desert region of south California where she spent the winter. I mentioned for us it is mainly the rainforest and sea on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Really, they are places of incredible beauty in nature, and all over including this that you pictured, don't you think? I just hope they don't disappear under man's insane damage to the environment.
The awesome power of Mother Nature is right outside our doors. Perhaps if more people lived with the natural world instead of removed from it, we stand a chance to keep these spaces intact for our grandchildren's grandchildren.

Beautiful and, once again, very haunting... Hugs, M.
Hello ML and MP,
The awesome power of Mother Nature is right outside our doors. Perhaps if more people lived with the natural world instead of removed from it, we stand a chance to keep these spaces intact for our grandchildren's grandchildren.
