fishing on the Kaministiqua

This is the way to find one of the many fishing spots on the Kaministiqua River.

Wear good shoes to maneuver through rocks and dense woods.

You're getting close when you hear the rapids.

There are lots of places on the rocks to try your luck.

There is a swimming hole here, too.

Someone has slung a rope from a tree branch that extends over the water, just grab the rope, swing, then jump into the river...if you dare.

Can you believe this spot is only a hop-skip-and-jump from town?

I am sure our nature is very different than that found in your country, Spain. Are there many rivers in Spain?

Oh, yes, in Spain we have many, many rivers, some lovelier than others... Hugs, M.
