the stained glass window of a Catholic Church I passed late one cold evening while walking downtown Port Arthur. Something was going on inside so the light glowed out in the dark.
If you want to become whole,
let yourself be partial.
If you want to become straight,
let yourself be crooked.
If you want to become full,
let yourself be empty.
If you want to be reborn,
let yourself die.
If you want to be given everything,
give everything up.

that poem touched my today. thank you so much for sharing.....
HI, fellow Canadian! I came to visit through Layla Anwar's blog (arabwomanblues). I'm a Basque-Spanish-Canadian. I grew up in Toronto but I've lived a little bit everywhere, right now in Ibiza, Spain. I would love to keep in touch with more Canadian bloggers (I have none in my blog, although it's written both in Spanish and English). Of course, my blog is more superficial. I, basically, write about me, my circumstances and my life in general. Look forward to your visit. Hugs, M.
Anonymous, I, too, needed a touching poem that day. I have poems lying about, on my shelves in my computer, and sometimes, nothing else will do but to go find a poem.
Merche Pallarés, nice to meet you! By coincidence, I visited your blog one day after reading one of your comments on Layla Anwar's blog! I liked what you had to say, and did not know until reading your posts that one of your identities is Canadian. And I really like your blog, especially your double voiced posts, in Spanish and in English. The image you have posted is eye-catching. I read your story of Christmas in Canada and it made me sad and mad to think that this happens all too regularly. Yes, let's stay in touch. I will link you on my bloglist.
Thanks for your reply. I would love to read your comments in my blog also because I have the feeling that only Spanish-speakers visit me! I miss English comments!! Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. Hugs, M.
