Will Obama pose with the legless children of Gaza?

Obama visiting Osher Twito, Israeli victim of Qassam rocket in Sderot in July 2008.

Will Obama also pose with the hundreds of legless, armless, and seriously damaged in the body Palestinian children of Gaza after the carnage is over?

Will Obama also then issue a statement that he stands behind the Palestinians right to defend themselves against terrorism -- that is, the state terrorism of Israel?

Will Obama do that?

In July 2008 Obama met with President Shimon Peres in Jerusalem and declared:

"I'm here on this trip to reaffirm the special relationship between Israel and the United States and my abiding commitment to Israel's security and my hope that I can serve as an effective partner, whether as a US senator or as president."

Will Obama come to Gaza and lay a wreath at the graves of the hundreds of martyrs of the Israeli massacre of the Palestinian civilian population and will Obama shed a tear?

And will Obama tell the world that

"if someone were firing on his home, where his two daughters were sleeping, he would do everything to stop the attacks – and that this is how he expects PALESTINE to act as well."

And will Obama declare to the elected officials of the Palestinian people of Gaza that

"I'm here on this trip to reaffirm the special relationship between Palestine and the United States and my abiding commitment to Palestine's security and my hope that I can serve as an effective partner as the president of American."

Will Obama say that?

Will Obama say that?

Will Obama say that?

I'd like to say yes but I fear he will not
Because Israel only survives with the assistance of American Jews and they seem to have the US government in their pockets.
Israel has nuclear weapons, biological warfare capabilities, a strong and powerful army, all made possible by the USA. Every rocket that hits Gaza has "A gift from Uncle Sam" stamped on it
At least that's my belief

Julie, it is more than your belief it is a fact that the Israeli weaponry arsenal is a gift of the US. The bombs for Gaza came from North Carolina and were delivered in November to Israel. The US knew where/how the bombs were to be used, so they knew that Gaza will be bombed. Now there is a huge mega ton shipment of bombs arriving this month to Israel. Who will be the victims of these terrible bombs? Where are they stored? Beside whose neighbourhoods--I bet the Palestinians.

From the article that Marja-leena linked to (which is worth a read)

"In September 2008, according to US and Israeli press reports quoting Pentagon officials, Tel Aviv's request was turned down. According to the reports, Washington categorically refused to deliver the shipment of GBU 28 bunker buster bombs, to be used to attack Iran's nuclear facilities. "Instead" Washington accepted to deliver the lightweight GBU-39 for use against Gaza."

Unfortunately, no, Obama WILL not abide by Palestinians. He's tied to the neck... Horrible news about those weapons sent to Israel.
You know, for many years I've had the feeling that if there were to be a Third World War (which, of course, would be disastrous) it would come from Israel. Hugs, M.

Just how strong IS the American Jewish vote? And why? Money? Influence? Power? Fear?

And what right does America have to say who will and who won't maintain an army/arsenal/nuclear capability?

Because it seems to me that if any country is a threat to world peace it is the USA

(No, I don't hate Americans, I just hate the foreign policy and the paranoia that permits the invasion of other countries, the arming of rogue states and the support of genocide)

I wonder how less destructive is a lightweight GBU-39, does it hurt less when one drops on your home and children?

By the way, I've tried to enter JULIE's blog to make a comment but I'm not allowed. Why, I wonder? Hugs, M.

I think that humans can say one thing and do another for many reasons. The well known phrase: Dog that barks never bites, means a lot and maybe that´s what Obama is doing..... I might be wrong but only "time tells the truth!"
